I wondered if anyone has been to Legoland, Paultons Park or Drayton manor at Christmas?

If so, were they any good?

Thanks

Drayton Manor is good for little ones. It's only the Thomas land area that is all open plus a few select rides in the main section like the carousel and what used to be the Ben 10 ride. In Thomas land they do a show every hour or so on the station balcony with fake snow. You can ride on one of the trains to the other end of the park where the zoo section is. Santa is in the castle.

There is also a 4D cinema there that was showing Polar Express last time we went with moving chairs and water squirting on you etc. We haven't been for a few years but my kids have always loved it. We usually did the stay and play deal and stayed at the hotel.

I was going to recommend Drayton Manor, as well.

It depends on the age of the child.

Legoland is aimed at older children than Drayton Manor.

We went to Legoland last year. Plenty of time with Father Christmas and a photo you can buy after. There's a lit Christmas tree path to get to his house. The rides were virtually empty. There were no queues and we had multiple turns on all of them. There were Christmas Lego displays too.

We did Drayton Manir last year, had a fab time. The meet Santa was great, nice photo with all the family and the present was a lovely book. They really go all out wit LG the Christmas theme but depends if your kids are into Thomas as to whether it would be a good idea or not! We also visited Cadbury world the next day while we were in the area, wasn’t the best but the kids had a blast and still talk about it!

We’ve done Legoland the last two years and are going again this year (DSs are 2 and 6). Next to no queues and about half the rides are open.

My kids are 7 and 4. They would have still loved to have gone this year and asked to although we didn't book it this year. They would probably want to go next year too.
