Any payroll experts out there?

I need a copy of an old payslip, all payslips are online now and I can access 2018-2016 but nothing older.
Do you know if there's likely to be an archive of payslips payroll are able to access? I didn't think to make hard copies.
Annoyingly I have some very old payslips, some new payslips but nothing in the middle.

Ask your employer as they should keep copied for up tob 7 years. We do

Can't you approach your company? They have to keep 6yrs worth by law.

Thanks, that's good to know. I only found out I needed it yesterday, so too late to speak to anyone at work.
I was looking for reassurance and you've provided it.
Thanks again.

I doubt if they keep an actual copy for 6 years, but they should have the data to re-produce one. I'm not sure if they have to, or whether it's at their discretion, ask HR?

All I'm hoping for is online access really.
