So pissed off had presale tickets the other day and didn't buy them as they were rubbish but everyone else must've just ploughed on because it was sold out within minutes this morning in Birmingham.

Secondary ticket sites already full of tickets

Can't go to the extra day added as going to see take that that night

Was going to take my mum gaaaah

I got one ticket in the arse end of Manchester Arena. But I'm happy. At least I'll get to go and I 'only' paid £60.

Whitney168 · 07/12/2018 18:39

I got two decent tickets for 3rd June at the O2. God I hate the process though, it is ridiculous.

JuneFromBethesda · 07/12/2018 18:55

Thank you for posting this - I can’t believe I forgot! My 10-year-old daughter is a huge HJ fan so I have to take her. There still seems to be availability for the later London dates thank goodness.

KiteMarked · 07/12/2018 19:00

There's tickets available for the matinee show in Manchester on 25 May, I just got to the payment section of the site. Unless you don't know if you've secured the tickets until you go through checkout?

JuneFromBethesda · 07/12/2018 19:12

We got tickets for London on 6 June. £65 each. I think my daughter will explode with excitement when we tell her 😁

Figgygal · 07/12/2018 19:55

I feel bad I'm not taking my 7 year old now but he can't sit by himself too

The idea of him rocking a Matinee performance makes me laugh for some reason

I just got two tickets to the Manchester matinee. Right at the front too. I'd been trying all day and pretty much lost hope but then just tried again on the off chance and they'd added an extra performance!
They're Christmas presents for my Mum - can't wait to see her face when she opens them.

wombatron · 07/12/2018 20:44

There's still tickets in 2's for some June performances at the o2 - £64 !

Hugh Jackman - any luck?
HildaZelda · 07/12/2018 22:00

Okayyyyyy, I've clearly been living under a rock or something because I can honestly say this is the first I've ever heard about any of this . . . . .
I had to google to see exactly what it was Hugh Jackman was doing.

AlbertWinestein · 07/12/2018 22:06

There’s plenty available at Madison Square Gardens. So, “just” fly to NYC! Grin

JuneFromBethesda · 07/12/2018 22:11

HildaZelda they only announced it a week or so ago. I wouldn’t have paid any attention if I didn’t live with a massive Greatest Showman fan 😄

StillMedusa · 07/12/2018 22:18

We got 3 tickets today, but holy shit they were expensive. As in... OMG. expensive. But DS2 is autistic and musicals are his obsession.
Frankly for what we have paid I feel I should be accidentally locked in a nice room somewhere with Hugh, but hey ho....

HildaZelda · 08/12/2018 00:19

@June, thanks. I was really beginning to wonder how I had heard absolutely nothing about it Grin

Butterymuffin · 08/12/2018 00:22

How do the illegal resellers buy up all the tickets so quickly? Can't understand how they can all be gone in under a minute..

Pedallleur · 10/12/2018 13:39

They (Ticketmaster or their secondary sites) have multiple accounts/credit cards or they use 'bots' which is an automated process. Some promoters get an allocation but you can do a google on this stuff and it will tell you.

Some artists also get an allocation as part of their contract and resell them at a higher mark up.

I have two tickets to the 7pm showing (for some reason tickets say 17.30 I think that's when doors open) at the Birmingham arena on 29th May 2019 - message me if you are interested. Thanks

estied · 24/01/2019 11:08

Please take a look on scarletmist.com - I'll be putting my tickets for Hugh Jackman up for sale face value in the next few days Monday 27th May at the arena Birmingham. :-)
