Eating out in Loughborough

Going to visit DS on Sunday. Would like to take him out for a nice meal. He's suggested driving in to Leicester or Nottingham. Not too keen as we will already haven driven up from London. Is there anywhere nice in the vicinity of the university? Will have vegan DD with us as well though she's used to having to make do with chips or simple pasta so she won't make a fuss.

Err... no not really Grin. I’d probably go to Nottingham too.

Grey Lady at Newtown Linford isn't far

DH found an oriental place called The Basin that turned out to be very pleasant. Everyone was happy.

We've eaten well at Tarboush. It caters for veggies, too. Lebanese

I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Tarboush on Market Street in lovely, loads of choice. Centro Lounge near the new Cineworld is popular with bright young things and has some good vegan options.
