Just got first ever parking ticket! Anyone had this

Round here they’ve got rid of paperless visitor permits on the cpz.

My friend has paid on the RingGo app, as we’ve done before, but I presume has made an error as I got a parking ticket

With the old paper permits I had to scratch off the date/ time etc so it was down to me, but with the new system you can’t as the driver actually check their account that it’s all correct. You just have to trust the person you visit to enter the right details.

Has anyone had this? Has anyone appealed

Obv I will talk to friend later and find out if there’s a mistake

DP is this recently he accidentally entered his old car registration instead of the one he had parked. He appealed it and they accepted his appeal as he had proof he had paid but for a car that wasn’t parked there.

He attached proof of payment to the appeal.

He had to pay £10 admin charge tho.
