Can you recommend your steam generator iron?

Morphy Richards power steam elite. I love it. It's revolutionised my (non)ironing life

How do they work? I have always been puzzled by them

They heat up as they have a water reservoir in the stand. You can either iron, using an ironing board like normal, or, my preferred method, hang your garment/s on a hanger on a door and press the steam button for a pretty much continuous burst of steam and pass the iron over the garments.

We've this one. It's bloody brilliant. No knobs or dials. It magically senses what temperature it needs to be and voila you just waft the iron over your clean laundry.

Makes ironing a joy whilst pretending it's a chore whilst watching Real Housewives on HAYU

I hope the screenshot attaches. It's very like this, but 5 bar instead of 4.5. I got it for something under £100. I can't remember exactly how much. Just look around on the net. You can get some great bargains. The higher the bar the better the steam. There's a morphy Richards generator on QVC for £99 atm. It looks a bit different from mine, but higher bar.

Love my morphy Richards one too. Only issue is storage.
