Impacted wisdom tooth pain 😩

I had my bottom two wisdom teeth out years ago, I had an X-ray last year and they said my top two were impacted. But somehow the left side has came through, after a while of a lot of pain.
Atm my right side is killing, throbbing all up my face/ear. I keep thinking it will just come through but I don’t think it will 😩😩 Iv suffered abit with it but the pain normally goes for months then comes back.

Do I really need it out? I’m scared 😩😩

I had to have mine removed as they kept getting infected. Whilst I was on the waiting list, The dentist cut away the gum above the tooth so the pressure released, which might be an option?

Do you have private medical cover? i do but don't have dental cover but as my wisdom tooth was classed as a surgical procedure they covered it. I had sedation with it and it was amazing! I didn't have any pain at all.

I Was the same fortunately for me my work had Bupa and because the wisdom tooth had impacted I got all 4 taken out at the same time under general anaesthetic. It was absolutely amazing and I never had any problems since would definitely recommend getting it taken out as mine kept getting infected.

Try clove oil. It tastes disgusting but works better than nurofen. The top wisdom teeth were impacted and caused me no problems to have out. The bottom teeth were painful and one got an infection and it had to be chipped out in pieces, so much bruising. But even though the top one was impacted it was no problem. You have to have it out because it will move your teeth.

my daughter had cellulitis with her bottom 2. and had them taken out as an emergency.
Now the top two are impacted and causing gip. She got an appointment today for assssement in March for surgical removal.
i dont think she will make it till then. Same as you she has pain up the side of her face and her ear.
Can anyone tell me how much they paid to go private? I can't seem to get a clear figure. IT doesn't have to be exact, ball park is fine

I'm in the same boat right now, a pharmacist I work with recommended orajel max strength gel which really numbs the area for a while and is making life more tolerable.

6 days and the bastard comes out!
