Bonus marks if you know the make of car.

It’s a part that fell off the car that drove into my car today in a supermarket and drove off without leaving a note. 🤬

No cctv in that area of the car park.

Not sure what (if anything) I can do with the information but thought it worth a try!

HowlsMovingBungalow · 06/12/2018 15:51

If you put in the part number 4202 -060 lh. It comes up with this:

www.ebay.ie/itm/131733300515

PoisonousSmurf · 06/12/2018 15:52

Comes from a Ford Fiesta 2013 to 2015.

Kudos Smurf. Can you now track down all the Fiesta owners for her? Might be 1 or 2.

BorisAndDoris · 06/12/2018 16:11

If there's no cctv in that area, would they be able to examine cctv for a damaged Ford Fiesta leaving the car park? Might be worth an ask.

TowerRingInferno · 06/12/2018 16:28

That’s a very good point. I will ask.

Wondering about the local FB ‘spotted’ page too. This is in a small town where everyone knows and sees everything (normally)

Did you get any paint left on your car bodywork?

TowerRingInferno · 06/12/2018 16:37

Can’t see any paint from the other other vehicle. Just scratches and dents to my paintwork along both doors.

Follow all the ones being sold on eBay and if someone near you buys one go and hammer on their door until you find out what happened to theirs.

Unfortunately that's not possible to do, but they have driven off from the scene of an accident, but I doubt the police would have the resources to do anything about it. Might be worth considering going through your insurance company if it is going to be an expensive repair though.
