Do you buy fabric from Amazon?

Where do you buy fabric from?
My local shop is sooo expensive that I am going to go online. Any website recommendations please?
Going to make some stockings, maybe patchwork ones so need fat quarter bundle too. Love to all you crafter's out there!!

eBay, jumble sales and old clothes. Also curtains, duvet covers etc. from charity shops that I've cut up.
Sewing is no longer a cheap hobby!

Good idea about old clothes. I agree, even the wadding for quilting is expensive!

Ebay has reinvigorated my sewing habit. There was a very dark period when all the local fabric shops and haberdashery departments had closed. Now I can buy everything so I need from the comfort of my sofa.
