Don't like being in photos

I can be feeling fine about myself, but then someone takes a photo and when I see it I then feel crap. I hate selfies and would rather never be in pics. I feel like I have to sometimes for dcs though. But if I was never in one again I'd prefer that. Anyone else?

Yes im exactly the same...i look hideous in photos yet in real life im reasonably attractive....i just dont understand why i look soo bad in photos.

I hate the way I look in most photos. I go all stiff and smile weird. If someone takes one and I don't know I look ok.

Got married 10 days ago and had to have loads taken. Was dreading it. But mostly I like them which is a relief!

I absolutely hate being in photos too. I've never been photogenic but I've suffered from some health problems which has caused muscle weakness on the right side of my face which is so disgustingly obvious in photos!! And I can't smile so I look so stern and bitchy.

I honestly have no idea how people can take so many pictures of themselves.

I’m the same, never take selfies as it just ruins my confidence. I’ll feel I ok, take a selfie look hideous and be disappointed. So I avoid taking them

chesney I'm glad your wedding photos went well - I often think I just wouldn't have any if I got married
I do exactly the same thing and do a frozen/weird look. If I'm in the background or don't realise I'm being photographed they're not as bad.

I said I didn't want any. Said no photographer. But my DH said he wanted some 😂 I bet you don't look as bad as you think. I think I look awful but others say I don't. Unless they are just being polite 😂

I think the key is to relax. I think the champagne helped me no end.
