Why can I hear Brucie at the end of Coronation Street?

This is going to sound mad.

At the end of Corrie, after the music goes 'Wah, wah, wah, wah, waaaah', then you get some meerkats, and then...and then...

...someone, and it sounds very like Bruce Forsyth to me, shouts, 'Nice!'. [As in - nice to see you to see you etc]

Tell me it's not just me. Or if you like, tell me it is just me and I shall take appropriate self-flagellatory action.

Confused

I'll let you know when this episode finishes 😁

A master of timing, that's me. Grin

Mind, they don't always play the same tune so it might come at the end of the 8:30 episode. Or not. Oh God I'm going to look extra-super mad.

I heard it at 8:00pm. Just me then.

Bump for 8:30 episode ending.

I've just rewatched the end of last nights first Corrie to try and hear it. I think it's the last meerkat saying ''night' Smile

@hiyahen

Thanks for watching! Confirms I'm not going daft I suppose.

Does it really sound like 'Night' to you? How disappointing.

Does it sound like Brucie to anyone else?

Yeah I think it's the Russian accent... watch tonight, you do see that last Meerkat wave goodnight to his pals!

The meerkats are way more interesting than most of the current storylines!
