..Can you have two Amazon accounts, or hide your history, or is there any way of hiding your history to do secret shopping?

I don't think so. My husband and I just have seperate accounts linked to seperate email addresses.

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 05/12/2018 20:19

Sure, just create one in a false name, linked to a different email address. As long as the card you use is legit, what do they care?

TeeBee · 05/12/2018 20:20

I have a work account and a personal account.

Why does it need to be secret if it's your account? Just don't let anyone else have access to it.

Emsmomma · 05/12/2018 20:26

You can hide your orders on there

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 05/12/2018 20:30

You can hide orders; or open an account with a work email or something.

If you're using the same device or network; be careful about cookies giving away what you've been looking at.

SavoyCabbage · 05/12/2018 20:32

You can hide your orders. And you can have two amazon accounts.

BertrandRussell · 06/12/2018 06:38

Is it obvious how to hide orders? I realise I donnt really want to open another account because I'll have to pay for Amazon Prime again!

If you go to 'order history', each order listed will have a 'hide order' button at the bottom.

imsorryiasked · 06/12/2018 06:56

You cam share prime with another household email address but as PP said the cookies will show what you've been looking at/buying.

I have my orders hidden but it still gives a list of items similar to recently viewed 🤔 I had to have my son set his own account up so I could buy presents etc for the family without them all seeing this no matter how many times I switched the function off.

Redcherries · 06/12/2018 07:16

He set up a household account, we can’t see what each other buys / history however I do get an email to my address advising if he’s ordered anything, no details of the item but it tells me how much he has spent and on what payment method.
