Wow a long awaited recognition of the work they do and highly vulnerable families who are managed via health visitors in their named person role.

Wonder if England will follow suit?

Yes currently band 6

I think banding in the NHS is wrong and staff are underpaid.

I am a band 7, I work in IT and I should not be paid more than senior nurses, paramedics, health visitors, midwives - I could go on.

I’m paid according to industry worth and at the top of band 7.

That is so wrong that i’m worth more than very busy, over worked, key clinical staff.
