Do I go tonight (first world problem)

I've signed up to weightwatchers. I intend to go on Friday mornings - I drop DS off at school then a leisurely meander to class. Except I can't go on the 14th December as it clashes with DS first school nativity.

So plan was to go to a local class to me, tonight at 5.45, this week and next then go to the Friday classes from then on.

Only I now can't decide whether that's daft as it'll be at different times of the day and a different leader etc.... WWYD?

Yes and Yes MrsJayy. I've been putting it off for MONTHS so I have seized the day so to speak.

Go on friday morning get started then say you have the concert then go again I wouldn't go to one the another

I suppose I'm worried if I skip the class on the 14th, that's a whole 2 weeks between weigh in.

I hate being an indecisive Ingrid.

well go to the thursday evening class if you have a babysitter and just go to that you are apparently lighter in the evening than morning anyway 😁

Go to the first class! You can always explain that you intend to go to a different class from then on. I definitely wouldn't wait until after Christmas as a pp has suggested. Someone I know was going to do this, but decided no time like the present and has lost just over a stone in the last month! Better to get a handle on it before the Christmas fun really starts!

cjt110 · 05/12/2018 15:15

AnotherOneBitesTheDust That's precisely my thinking. I've fannied around for the past 3 years and have seen my SIL and MIl lose significant amounts of weight. I'd rather get a handle on it now, with a view to planning SOME treats over the festivities rather than think "Fuck it" and devour even more, and put more weight on!

Fortunately the leader at this class knows me so I'm sure she'll be happy if I attend for a few sessions then elsewhere. I think you can attend any classes anyway can't you? So long as you only weigh once a week

Is there not more than one weigh in per day? May be different with weightwatchers but all slimming world clubs weigh in three times a day. Don’t put it off or you’ll be kicking yourself you didn’t start sooner. Starting now will help motivate you to keep any gains over Xmas to a minimum.

starzig · 05/12/2018 15:43

I would wait till your regular slot. Weight changes due to day of the week and time can be disheartening

cjt110 · 05/12/2018 16:25

mum11970 Not really where I live. Its usually once a day in different localities
