Something comfy usually. Jersey trousers and top with cardigan that's easy to take off if I get too hot cooking dinner, probably.

PoutySprout · 05/12/2018 18:49

Do people sit down for Xmas dinner in pjs? Not judgey by the way just curious.

I don’t get dressed up for beans on toast.

DMCWelshCakes · 05/12/2018 18:50

Silver pleated skirt, midnight blue velvet heels & midnight blue cashmere jumper.

And my most accommodating pants so that my stomach doesn't hurt when I've eaten fat too much. Xmas Grin

Well if I'm going to my mum's I might fling on jeans and a tshirt but if I'm staying in you're fucking right I wear pyjamas. I'm not getting dressed up for a night on the town so sit on my arse stuffing my face.

kiwiscantfly · 05/12/2018 18:55

Shorts and vest top, might put on a summery dress in the afternoon. Will need a warm jumper later. Camping and will (hopefully) be hot and sunny here in NZ!

shecamefromgreece · 05/12/2018 18:56

Pouty why are you not having a Christmas dinner? Do you not like Christmas?

lastqueenofscotland · 05/12/2018 18:56

Who the fuck gets dressed up for Xmas day?!
Always do parkrun on the morning so running kit for that and then probably jeans and a jumper

Dothehappydance · 05/12/2018 18:56

Jeans and a t shirt, after lunch I will change into my 'lounge' trousers.

shecamefromgreece · 05/12/2018 18:57

Fair enough bumdisesase. I suppose that makes sense!

Belindabauer · 05/12/2018 18:57

A nice dress and tights .

TheLastNigel · 05/12/2018 18:58

Bloody care tunic as none of my care staff will work so I'm going to have to do it. Beyond fed up.

BatsAreCool · 05/12/2018 18:58

As there is just the two of us then it's jogging bottoms and a tshirt. I would hate to have to get dressed up as it's all about comfort and relaxation for me.

shecamefromgreece · 05/12/2018 18:59

Lastqueen me! I thought it was normal but obviously notGrin
I suppose it's just what we always do. We either have guests or go out and I quite like to make an effort.

Thesearmsofmine · 05/12/2018 19:00

Either a red 50’s style dress from Lindy Bop or a vintage dark green velvet dress.

StealthNinjaMum · 05/12/2018 19:02

I feel like I'm going over the top. I have either a Ralph Lauren dress I wore last Christmas or a coast dress I just bought in a sale. Depends if dh wants to look smart.

WWlOOlWW · 05/12/2018 19:02

We are going to my parents. I MIGHT change out of my Pj's and sling on some jeans.

Thelonewanderer · 05/12/2018 19:04

Work uniform then pjs when I get home 😁

Girlsworld92 · 05/12/2018 19:07

I've got a sparkly jumper dress to wear with leggings. It's a bit big so plenty of room for lovely festive treats 😀 I don't usually bother too much but just came across this on sale & it's lovely.

JessyB3 · 05/12/2018 19:13

FiveNightsAtMummys · 05/12/2018 19:14

Christmas jumper! Probably with comfy leggings ready for all the food!!

LondonLassInTheNorthPole · 05/12/2018 19:16

We use to make an effort when we were younger. As an adult. Something comfy as cooking and cleaning is mostly what i do
So normally tracksuit bottoms and a christmas tshirt (Santa, snowman etc)

CherryPavlova · 05/12/2018 19:53

Christmas day it will be a dark green velvet wrap dress with a ruby necklace that I’ve had years. Probably with black tights and ankle boots as nobody really cares about my legs. If my stocking has a silly Christmas hairband or boppers I’ll probably indulge Father Christmas and wear it.
Boxing Day it will be the same dress in deep red velvet. I’ll pop on some nearly heels when people are here for drinks.
Then tunics, leggings, warm woolies, muck boots for dog walking on the beach during twixtmas.
New year village supper and dance is evening wear so a long dress.

WhenTheDragonsCame · 05/12/2018 19:53

I have bought the whole family (me and 3DDs) matching Brussel sprout pyjamas so I'm thinking of just wearing those all day Grin

Sausagefingers9 · 05/12/2018 19:54

Pyjamas for most of the morning and then a sparkly jumper and jeans later on.
