Please tell me what you think!!
Person A has a cough and seemed like a sore throat cold last week still has the cough wants to visit person b who's little one has a cold person A said they was coming over but won't incase they catch little ones cold but was happy to go to person b house still coughing and asked to come last week whilst feeling achy and cold like, Is person a abit cheeky to think about going over with a cough to pass on but won't incase A catches a cold!
FWIW person A won't go to B house if there's any hint of a cold but will happily have partner get in the car with person B with a chest infection and not worry about person B catching it! Also one year person B has a phobia of sick and A didn't tell them husband had been sick and let B sit there and then be told only because B asked that yes husband has been sick!!
If you've got to the end and understand it then well done I didn't mean to babble on!!

Ummm

D. Don’t understand any of it 😂

Don’t take a cough or cold to a baby’s house

TroyKing · 05/12/2018 11:47

Bit confusing.

I wouldn't visit anyone if I had a cold or sore throat nor would I visit anyone if they or a family member had a cold or sore throat.

Polkadot1502 · 05/12/2018 11:49

Sorry I realised I babbled on 😂
Mil won't come near my dd if she has a cold but will happily come over if she's still coughing herself!! ( but will say it's not catching, not sure how you can tell if it's catching or not )
Fil got in the car with my partner whilst fil had a chest infection with no worry about passing it on to my partner for his dd to catch just after she was over one.
When I was pregnant we went to pil house for a birthday and fil had been sick, he was upstairs and partner asked if he was ok mil tried to hush away that yes he was just tired as not right, I asked if he had puked and yes he had !! She wasn't going to tell us, fwiw I have a phobia of being sick and didn't think that was fair.
This post might make sense now 😂

YANBU. My PIL have just passed a brutal virus onto my baby DD and I’m still fuming about it tbh!

Polkadot1502 · 05/12/2018 12:00

Daisywho hope your dd is better soon!! It's like one rule for them and another for others xx

FYI OP threads in Chat don't disappear any more!!

It says this at the top... "Threads started in this will no longer be removed after 90 days. A new topic called 90 Days Only can be found in the Other Stuff category of Talk."

Might want to ask HQ to move it if you want it gone.

EdtheBear · 05/12/2018 12:01

You do realise Chat is no longer deleted after 90days - ask to move it to 90days

Polkadot1502 · 05/12/2018 12:03

Ah Thankyou, no I didn't realise although I have been told before 😂 thanks xx

@Polkadot1502 my PIL invited us for Sunday lunch where they had my BIL kids, failed to tell us that they had them because they had Norovirus and SIL didn't want it as she is pregnant, que all 6 of us getting it, husband passing it back to BIL before we knew he was ill and SIL having a massive tantrum because WE'D GIVEN HER NORO. Oh the irony.

Polkadot1502 · 05/12/2018 12:23

Norfolkenchancemate that's awful!! Can understand she doesn't want to catch it but why the hell did they invite you all over!! I hope your all better soon!! That's bloody awful!! Xx
