I would but I am already 5 weeks in and 10lb down. The new version is soooo much better. It properly encourages healthy eating, I found before that the mentality was ohhh, you can have your bacon sandwich and your crisps and your cake and still lose weight, which was true, but I ended up eating loads of crap.
Finding the new version much easier to stick to and I am eating much healthier food. Advert over. Can I have my commission now please

Wow, well done you! Belleende I have 2stone to shift - ideally 3 but am being realistic.

Here's your ww friendly commission GinCakeWineChocolate

I've lost over 8 stone on ww but I really don't like the new format. Leaders or coaches as they are now called, no longer write your weight down unless you ask, there are no paper certificates for 5%, 10% etc., and not all will weigh you once a week.

OH... when has this change come along since? My MIL said it's about a different focus now...? I'm not attending class 'til Friday. Am familiar with Flex but not the new stuff.

I'm joining WW in Jan (my baby is due in 2 weeks). I can't figure out whether to join online or in real life or both.

I couldn't even figure out the online options today.
Is it £22.95 a month or 12.95 a month? Is that for both or one?

There's an option to join now and get it free until Feb but it says 6 months. How does that work?

How is WW different from using MyFitnessPal?

Does everyone have different point allowances depending on your current weight and how much you want to lose per week?

Is it easier than SW?

If you failed to lose weight with SW, despite doing everything by the book - are you more likely to lose with WW?

Belleende · 05/12/2018 21:58

I am doing online only as can't get to meetings.

You get daily points based on current weight and where you want to get to. You also then get some extra weekly points. These you can use to top up your daily points, or what I do is splurge on a Sunday.

Lots of zero point food (chicken breast, eggs, fish, pulses most fruit and veg).

My fitness Pal you count calories. WW is not just about calories, as some 'good' foods are zero points.

Not done SW.

That's really helpful! Thank you.

Now I understand the difference between MFP and WW it seems that it is definitely worth getting into.

Annoying thing is, I will be joining with the post Christmas rush!
I hope there's room for me at the meetings.

Online only is £13 a month. Online and classes is £22.

You sign up now and don't pay anything until Feb - when you pay the monthly fee as above per month, until the end of the 6 months

MFP is calorie counting so even an apple has calories, whereas on WW, an apple would be 0sp.

Yes

Potatoes and pasta are not "free" on WW.

The offer online finishes 15/12 looking at my subscription agreement. Perhaps worth losing 2 weeks for the sake of getting a few months free?
