Where to go to get dd’s ears pierced

She’s 13. She had them done a couple of years ago at a tattoo place with a gun but they never really cleared up very well so we let them heal up.

She would like them doing again.

If you can get them needle pierced, they should heal very well (although the real trick is not to fiddle with them at all).

Problem is, needle experts tend to be in tattooists, and many councils only licence tattooists for piercing over 16s. Having said that, I had a tragus piercing done 2 weeks ago by a tattoist who's been doingin this for nearly 30 years, and it was quick, with minimal pain and healing nicely just by bathing in warm water as advised to do.

Ask around for recommendations locally, I'm sure people will know a good piercer.

Thank you. Her friend has had hers done recently, I’ll ask her mum where she went.

Agree on looking for a tattoo place that uses a needle.

Another vote for proper piercing studio that uses needles, less trauma on the tissue and it should hurt less too!
