My 20 year old DD (currently at uni) received a letter today from HMCTS saying that she owes £350. It's a final steps notice. The letter came here and she asked me to open it for her tonight. She is going to call them in the morning as it doesn't say what she owes the money for and she swears that she doesn't owe any money. It says that she has failed to make a payment. There is one letter wrong in her name (changing the name) but the address and date of birth are correct. Has anyone got any idea why she might have received this letter or received anything similar themself?
