Drying Jeans containing Elastane

uncomfortablydumb53 · 04/12/2018 18:30

I've just ordered my first tumble dryer today as I now live in a tiny flat
I wear my Top shop Jamie jeans every day( obviously not the same pair!)
When I checked the label earlier I was surprised to see that it says not to Tumble dry them
Does anyone Dry them in a dryer and have they survived?
Thanks

I always put mine in the tumble dryer. If I leave them crumpled in there overnight they get persistent white streaks where the creases are. But otherwise they're unscathed.

I would never tumble jeans of any kind!

No jeans of any kind, even the kids’ ones, go in our tumble dryer.

Tumble dryer heat rots elastase. Jeans also take forever to dry in a tumble dryer and prevent lighter clothes in with them from drying.

I tumble dry jeans, they're fine!

I tumble dry everyones jeans, no problems here.

I tumble dry all my jeans but wash and dry them inside out to stop the line marks. All my jeans are from Matalan, Primark or Tesco and never had a problem.
