Tesco clubcard revelation!

For years (I understood) if you have a £10 Clubcare voucher you could get £30 or £40 of vouchers

I used to get loads of £20 bella Italian or Chef & Brewer and rarely a £10

Which means I either had to add money or 'waste' some

I rang up because they have changed the system (again!) and you can only have one voucher for the restaurant for each transaction.....so £15 voucher = £45 restaurant voucher so the potential for waste was enormous

I rang up because it was such a pain and they said actually I can have my vouchers in 50p £1.50, £3, £4.50 & £9 denominations which is bloody fabulous - but only if I ring up and ask them......so not on-line

I thought I'd share this in case anyone else didn't know & greatly increase their phone call numbers before Christmas!!

I don't think you do waste what you don't use? I have always been credited the difference on my next clubcard statement. Say for example I had a £5.50 voucher, and I was using only £5, the 50p is carried over to next the next statement.

yes that happened but you couldn't split a £15 vouvher in to 3x£15 restaurant vouchers before.....at least I don't think you could

For 3 diff restaurants yes but not 3 for the same one?
