Crackers with no bang!

Bit of a weird question, I want to post Christmas crackers abroad but you’re not allowed to post the ones that bang (because it’s an explosive apparently)
Has anyone seen any bangless Christmas crackers?

What a great idea. I have kids with sensory who hates things that pop and bang

daydreamdaisy · 04/12/2018 16:31

Not seen any, but you can get kits or follow tutorials to make your own and just omit the bang, if all else fails? We used to do loo roll tubes at school but can see why this would not appeal Grin

I did think about making my own but sadly my crafting skills are at the level of a drunken 3 year old & they probably wouldn’t have the desired effectGrin

I have bought build your own crackers from marks and Spencer’s so no crafting is required, the bang can just be omitted. I am sure other places sell them too

I bought these, they are reusable and you can remove the bang (they come with them initially but easy to just slide out)

HSMMaCM · 04/12/2018 16:51

You can usually slide the bangers out of the middle.

Thank you for all the diy options, I’m sending them to a country that doesn’t usually have crackers so really I’d like ready made that come in a nice box! I might buy some & see if I can remove the bang without destroying them

Just take the banger out of the middle . We always do this every year with the ones we take round to my Dmum's as her dog is scared of bangs but we still want crackers with our Christmas dinner.
