Alternative to firestick?

Our firestick has recently broken, and as it doesn't support Now TV I'd like to replace it with a different brand. In addition to Now TV we have Netflix, Amazon Prime and watch a lot of stuff on iPlayer and 4Od.

Can anyone recommend a plug in box / USB jobby that would support all these things?

Almost anything. I'm mildly surprised your telly doesn't do those by itself.

Probably recommend a Roku Express if you don't already have anything that'll do it - a Playstation or Xbox for example.

Both our TV's are well over a decade old so nothing smart about them! We have an Xbox downstairs and do everything through that but I bought a firestick for upstairs as DH plays Xbox a couple of nights a week and sometimes we just like to watch different things Smile

Thanks for the recommendation -- I'll have a look at it.

That makes sense! The Roku Express will do everything you've mentioned, they're probably the most adaptable thing you can buy apart from the (shockingly expensive) AppleTVs.

I ordered a Roku Express today from Amazon £19.99 - £25 everywhere else. I have never owned or used one before but this one was recommended on Shop Smart - Save Money so I am going to give it a go (same ones were £19.99 at Argos and Curry’s but increased in price to £24.99 overnight).
