Boohoo delivery times

Hi, I’m new to shopping on boohoo. Does anyone know if the delivery times are realistic?
It gives free delivery for 9 day time frame... I kind of want it sooner than that but not sure if I want to spend £6 on next day delivery.
Any experiences?

I usually wait until there’s an offer for free or £1.99 next day delivery because I’ve found they do take a little longer to arrive via standard delivery. I can’t imagine they’ll have any more delivery promotions so “close” to Christmas now though
