Ovaltine and Horlicks

I have for the first time in my life tried Ovaltine and it's bloody delicious. I never knew.

We were a Horlicks family and I expected it to be the same, but it's so much nicer.

I'm wondering what other secret old school delights I'm dismissing unfairly...

I used to love Bournvita.

I'd never even heard of BournVita until today!

I love an ovaltine before bed. I only have one heaped spoonful though.

Weirdly in other countries it's a breakfast drink.

After said discovery I found myself going down a rabbit hole of the history of these drinks - fascinating.

Milo malted chocolate drink from Sainsbury’s is very similar to Bournvita.
