Pregnant? PMS? Memopause?

I’ll start by saying I’m not looking for expert medical advice, just opinions. Been to my GP and they basically said “it’s one of those things”.

So my menstrual cycles are kind of unregular, but usually long - between 30-45 days. About 35 is average for me. Cue monthly panic about “late period”.

We are neither TTC, nor avoid pregnancy. We’re kind of at the point of we’d like a baby but no pressure. So sometimes pull out, sometimes not.

The last time we had sex was the day before my period came (43rd day!), no protection used. Period was normal.

But since about 10 days after that I’ve been lethargic, nauseous, my nipples hurt, my breasts are covered in blue veins (never had that before), having night sweats and generally just PMS/pregnancy like symptoms. I am now on day 50 (still haven’t dtd, don’t ask), but pregnancy test negative.

Anyone explain this? could I be pregnant? I know the likelihood is very very low. But is it possible?

I’m only 27 so dearly hoping this is not menopause related. Any ideas? I’m at my wits end 😬

Repeat pregnancy test in the morning when HCG would be concentrated if pregnant. If you are not pregnant, it will be negative.
Are you overweight? Having extra fat around the waist can interfere with the hormones that regulate your cycle.
The least likely reason for a 27 year old woman to miss their period is menopause.
Go back to GP if this continues and you are worried.
