Putting a 2 year old in childcare who really doesn't like me leaving him

I have a pretty good job offer on the cards, the only problem is I will obviously have to get childcare for my precious last born (PLB).
I try to leave him with his father DH a couple of times a week, just for an hour, and often come back to an upset toddler.
And that's with his own father in his own house!
I didn't put dc2 into childcare until preschool at 3.5 as she got too upset when I tried preschool at 3. When I tried again at 3.5 she absolutely loved it from the outset.
Dc1 was with a childminder from 11 months - 2 yo and cried every single drop off so I then kept her home for a year. Again she hated preschool at 3 but loved it when I retried at 3.5.

I don't actually have to work, (as long as we are very frugal!)) butwant to for me for a variety of reasons.

I don't want him sad and upset at nursery wondering if his mum will pick him up. But I have to decide whether to take the job before I can do any trial sessions at nursery!

Oh I don't know what to do!!!!!

How do you personally feel, act, talk, behave at drop offs?

I've always been very cheerful, jolly, hand over and brisk because I want some time to myself! Made fuck all difference with my other two! Grin
