Is Lidl premade mulled wine any good?

I need some premade mulled wine for a party and saw some in Lidl yesterday. Has anyone tried it? It’s the alcoholic one rather than the deluxe non alcoholic one.

What about other supermarket premade stuff? Any recommendations?

The Lidl Gluhwein is very good! We had a bonfire party and put it in a tea urn, went through 12 litres of it. It costs 4.99 a litre. Think it’s called Chistallen or something? Can’t comment on any labelled ‘mulled wine’, we just go for the ‘gluhwein’.

We also use Lidl Gluewein, however, we feel it's a bit sweet so we double it up by adding another whole bottle of nice red, usually a merlot and add some brandy.

Yes to Lidl's Gluhwein!

We also polished off a load at a bonfire night party Rose!

Thanks, I think I’ll go for that one then. Did you warm it?

Yes we definitely warmed it but don't boil or you'll burn off the alcohol.
You can also add chopped apples and oranges, double it up with a bottle of your favourite red, or add a couple 100ml of brandy.
Warms your cockles i can tell you 😁

IKEA one is very nice - also a bit sweet but can add some dry red.
