8 weeks pregnant, not seen a dr have had 5 positive tests. Was on holiday last week from work and have felt a bit weird. Had some bleeding today very heavy, lots of cramps. Took a test today and it's barely there, I'm devastated
I'm
Going to the drs tomorrow but what do I tell work?

Sorry I won't be in this week because im having a miscarriage but you didn't know I was pregnant because I've had 6 other miscarriages this year? I have to ring in sick before I go to drs and I don't know what to do

Yes you very simply tell them that you are having a miscarriage. You were not obliged to tell them you were pregnant anyway. sending you prayers 💐

Yes, tell them the truth, you weren't obliged to tell them you we're pregnant so don't worry about them not having known about the pregnancy. I'm so sorry to hear you've suffered multiple miscarriages this year, take care of yourself. Is someone going to go with you to the Dr tomorrow? Sending love.

You had no need or obligation to tell them you were pregnant, so I would just state the facts, and get yourself off to the doctors. On a personal note, I'm sorry, what a rubbish year for you. Do hope for a better 2019.

So sorry op.
Tell work you are miscarrying, there’s no reason not to.

Yeah DH is taking the day off with me. Hopefully they'll now refer for tests because I can't keep going on like this. Ok I'll just ring the in the morning and tell them. Thank you

Tell them you are miscarrying.
Get a doctor's note to say so.
Any time taken off for pregnancy-related illness doesn't "count" in the same way as for other illness, and miscarriage is pregnancy-related.

So sorry for your losses Flowers

I rang and told them I wouldn't be in and got told to ring back after my gp appointment? Which is awkward as that's not until 4.45 and the co-ordinator leaves at 5 so guess I'll just have to leave a message
