Audio books/Audible for DCs

Not sure where the best place to post this is, but very grateful in advance for any advice
Both my DC like listening to audio books when they fall asleep. We have a small selection of kids books on audio CDs and they each have a cheap CD player in their room, one is on its last legs so need to sort some kid of replacement.
I subscribed to Audible and I think I've been able to download several good audio books for them on my phone. When we were away camping I could play them the stories on my phone which was great but not practical for every night at home.
Does anyone use Audible for kids' stuff and if so how do you play it to them? Is there some kind of device I can get which I can download their stuff onto and then play through some kind of speaker? It'll be a few years until their old enough for their own phone for example, otherwise I guess that would sort it.

Both of my children love to listen to audible to get to sleep. They have a kindle fire each in a kids case but they use it on my account with all the parental controls locked down rather than on the kids section iyswim.
You can buy three audible credits for £18, just be careful that the books you buy are worth more that £6!

That's brilliant, thanks so much dustyskye, they already have a kindle fire, I had no idea this was possible. I should make an effort to get more technologically competent!

Smileglad I could help. Just go into your section on the Fire, open parental controls and block everything!
