I'm another one for Jon Hamm as Don Draper. I objectively know he's good looking but in other roles he just doesn't do it for me.

Not someone I fancy, but the actress who plays Khaleesi in Game of Thrones looks so different in real life. I think the hair makes her striking in the role.

Robert Downey Jr in Ally McBeal , he's brilliant in that. He plays such a likeable character. I hate him in most other stuff, I think he's a bit hammy and seems to exude smugness, especially these last few years.
I liked him in Chaplin too, just remembered about that one.

Nathan Fillion as Capt Mal Reynolds in Firefly/Serenity, but not in anything else. It's the grumpy, growliness that does it for me.

I agree about Aidan Turner in Being Human, again it's the darkness that draws me. I find his sexiness is over played a bit in other things, his naked torso is lovely to look at but doesn't make me fall in love with the character.

This one is a bit embarrassing, there was a very silly series called Primeval and Ben Miller played the most incredibly sociopathic and dastardly character, and I fancied him like mad. I've never even looked twice at him in anything else.

Cillian Murphy lives near my brother. DB says he's teeny-tiny and quite pale and ill looking. The camera loves him but he's a bit plain and washed-out in real life. Plus he looks like a teenage thug with his Peaky Blinders hair cut.

@blackamericano, they've been repeating Primeval on Watch, I've been binging it recently but mainly for the ever delicious Dougie Henshall!

Oooh, I've just checked and I have Watch on my cable tv provider. I might record a few episodes of Primeval, it probably doesn't matter which ones because as far as I remember it was basically the same story on every episode.
