Dublin - what to do there?

We’re off to Dublin next week, just for a couple of days. We’re stating at the Hilton opposite Kilmainham.
I’ve looked online and lots of recommendations seem to be for half days or days out and we won’t have time to do that.
Please can you give me your must-dos?
Already on the list are Kilmainham, Guinness brewery and, I think, the whisky museum.
I know the bars are fabulous but I want to do a bit of shopping and sightseeing as well!

Thank you so much, Troy, that looks great! Just up my street.

Grafton street and the side streets off it plus the Stephens Green centre at the top. Start at the Stephens green centre and walk down Grafton street. Cross Dame Street and head to the Central Bank - ugly building - but it’s the edge of Temple Bar. Head through the arch to the Halfpenny Bridge and across to the North side and Henry Street.

I haven’t lived in Dublin for years but that’s my preferred plan if I get a day to wander.

Last time I was there I went to Glasnevin cemetery. Not everyone's cup of tea but I loved it. Loved Pere Lechaise in Paris too.
Glasnevin isn't far outside the city centre. You can get a local bus for a couple of euros. You can wander round on your own (no charge to go in) or pay for a guided tour. I bought a guide map in the shop/reception and just went round myself.
