Christmas presents for 2nd baby?

My little one will be 8 months old at Christmas. He’s inherited all of his baby toys so far from his older brother who is 2 years older.

So far I’ve only bought the baby 2 presents (a Leapfrog picnic basket and a Fisher Price cookie jar shape sorter). I feel a bit mean not buying more, but we don’t need more toys.

What do you do for your 2nd babies?

8 month olds aren't bothered about Christmas. If he's got plenty of toys I'd just put some money in a savings account for him.

Melamine dinner set
Money box
Quilt or blanket
Music box
Night light
Toy box
Bubble bath

Just buy a token gift or something practical. It doesn't sound like he needs anything and he won't know. He will enjoy the experience even though he won't remember it.

Same here op. I'm getting family to chip in for a nice toy box for his room, maybe a bean bag chair, and a couple of stocking fillers but otherwise he has all the toys he needs already!

How about some personalised stuff. Like a height chart. Or a book. A big cuddly toy.

My dd2 is 11 months and we have the same issue. Don't need toys or clothes.

Have asked for some personalised stuff and vouchers for clarks shoes from family members.
