Tommee Tippee Prep Machine

Hi everyone!!
I have a Tommee Tippee prep machine, when making a 5oz bottle it seems to rise to 6oz where as when I first got it it raised to 5.5oz?? I'm confused? Shall I add more formula???

Is called displacement. The powder added to the 5oz of water will make up to more than 5oz. Don't add extra formula

@dementedpixie okay thank you so it's normal for it to make an extra ounce in stead of the extra 0.5 as advertised

That's normal. It's due to the formula powder which thickens the water and causes it to rise, hence why it shows more oz than what the settings say. Do not add anymore! X
