I had some bits of jewellery, a necklace and a couple of rings that I haven't worn for many years . They were given to me by an ex partner, they were not of high quality therefore I didn't think they were worth very much.
So I thought I would try a pawn shop, I have never been into one before and had the opinion that it would be dark and dingy and intimidating.
How wrong was I, it was far from what I had imagined. The member of staff I dealt with was very friendly and professional and said they would by my jewellery from me. I was expecting them to give me a very low price, but they offered me £100.
Have any of you had dealings with a pawn broker, good or bad?
