Anyone know what happens in this situation. Ordered a Christmas present online, its from a known brand, not a major retailer by any means but definately not a dodgy site. So put in all adress and payment info and clicked place order. Really long wait time and the order page just pops up again. No thank you for your order heres your order number. Just the address and payment info page, filled in still. So I check I put all the details in correctly (I had) and try again and the same thing happens.
Phoned the bank and the moneys been put on hold so the money side has gone through but nothing from the site and no email confirming purchase. Also the item I 'bought' is still in the shopping cart on the site. Anyone any experience of this? Also if the online order didnt go through will the held money just go back on my credit card in a few days? I know really I should phone the store but I tried that and the people responsible for online orders are not in until Monday and that is also the cut off date for orders in time for Christmas.
