We're on our way to Longleat Festival of Light and have just discovered they have a power cut and are closed!

We were already under way before I checked the postcode and the saw the update.
We've booked and paid for a hotel so could do with some suggestions for a rainy day around Warminster/Frome.
Any thoughts?

Maybe the Marquess could get one of his 'wifeless' to run on a treadmill and generate electricity!

According to their website it is open again.

The website says that the power disruption has been resolved and the park is open. Have you checked that the festival of light is definitely not going ahead?

They declared the crisis averted by the electricity gurus about 10 to 1.
We visited animals whilst waiting for it to get dark and then it was bloody marvelous. Dinosaurs, sea creatures and rocket ships.
