RIP - a far better president than Trump.

Ah, a cheap potshot at Trump taken when someone has just died... Classy.

But it's true. Though it could be said of just about any US president, including Nixon.

RIP. He seemed to be a good family man.

Most people would be better than Trump. That someone has died doesn't mean we can't discuss other politicians. Unless we've been timewarped back overnight to stalinist Russia, I don't see the problem. The professionally offended are up early this morning I see.

He was Reagan's Vice President wasn't he? Seems like a different era, even though I remember him.

A good family man? Sorry but the Contras? There was blood on his hands. Didn't cover himself in glory at the CIA either. And haven't quite a few women said he sexually harassed them.

We don't have to speak ill of the dead but let's not rewrite the history of Central America to pretend one man was decent. The poor people of Nicaragua and El Salvador don't see him as a good family man.

And Panama...
