My hair is mid brown with a little bit of grey. Shoulder length. I had highlights six months ago where they stripped the colour off then added toner. I really did not like them so I covered with a nice and easy straight away and it all went dark brown which was nice but that has now washed out and the highlights are showing again. They are blond but with a slight orangish hue and start about six inches from my roots. I a happy for my hair to have all different tones of brown but what I can't work out is do I put the nice and easy on the whole head at once, or the highlights first and the six inch root area for less time or what - or is it that light hair will take dye quicker so the highlighted ares needs it on for less. Please help - I really want to do it tonight!
