How long do you spend in the shower?

OP posts:
pickledolive · 30/11/2018 17:13

Not long enough (not because I'm mucky) but because bloomin kids interrupting every 2 mins.😂

CakeNinja · 30/11/2018 17:15

Can be anything from a 5 minute rinse to half an hour.

Heuschrecke · 30/11/2018 18:14

Probably no more than 10 minutes - so that's a body wash first, then hair wash, then conditioner and face wash, then a rinse.

BiscuitDrama · 30/11/2018 18:15

About two minutes. Longer if I’m washing my hair, but only about 5 or 6 minutes.

Whyislarryhappy · 30/11/2018 18:18

Forever. The bathroom door is a slide door which doesn't lock either, we have a walk in shower, so 9 times out of 10 my 2dc are in there with me!

Meet0nTheIedge · 30/11/2018 18:22

About two mins if I'm not washing my hair. 5 mins if I am washing it.

IStandWithPosie · 30/11/2018 18:25

Depends what I need to do. If I’m not washing hair or shaving then 3ish minutes. If I’m washing hair and shaving then 15-20 minutes. As a teenager I could spend and hour+ in the shower! Shock

80sMum · 30/11/2018 18:34

About 5 minutes for the actual showering; then 2 minutes to squeegee the screen doors and dry the taps etc; then another 2 minutes to dry myself; then 2 minutes teeth cleaning; then 2 minutes applying serums and moisturiser; then about 7 minutes to dry my hair; then 5 minutes deciding what to wear and another 3 minutes to get dressed.

So, I need a minimum of about half an hour to get ready to go out. Fortunately, I don't wear makeup otherwise it would be a lot longer!

Sitranced · 30/11/2018 18:38

4 mins or less. I've got a little sand timer on the shower to monitor and reduce water/power. Just a habit I picked up whilst travelling around many campsites in Australia.

IStandWithPosie · 30/11/2018 18:42

then another 2 minutes to dry myself

Confused how can it take 2 minutes to dry yourself especially after you’ve just spent two minutes drip drying while you squeegee the shower doors and dry the taps?

spiderlight · 30/11/2018 18:42

Twenty minutes. It's my one blissful chunk of uninterrupted me-time in the morning before I have to start making breakfasts and lunches and shouting at people to get up and clean their teeth and get dressed. I could probably do it all in less time but I don't want to!

EyeRolls · 30/11/2018 18:44

Get wet. Lather. Rinse. Out- max 2 mins.

If it's hairwash & shave, more like 5 mins.

Hate lingering in the shower.

Baths on the other hand....

KonaMum · 30/11/2018 18:45

About 2 mins if not hairwashing. Max of 5 mins if washing hair. Tend to shave legs with the water off, then rinse as it takes a while.

Seniorschoolmum · 30/11/2018 18:45

5-6 mins

PerverseConverse · 30/11/2018 18:45

12 mins to clean teeth (before I get in) wash hair, wash face, apply conditioner, wash body, shave legs and underarms, rinse conditioner, apply toner and moisturiser to face.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 30/11/2018 18:48

9 minutes form prepare shower to out and dry including hair.
I timed it bec. of an argument with DS.

TokyoSushi · 30/11/2018 18:49

About 7/8 minutes

PhilomenaButterfly · 30/11/2018 18:51

25 minutes if I'm washing my hair, 5 minutes otherwise.

halfwitpicker · 30/11/2018 19:06

8 mins I reckon.
