I would buy a new one but I can't find one to match the holes in the tiles.

It's silver, or should I say was silver, and it has turned rusty and looks vile.

How to I remove the rust.

Thanks

Get rid!

Keep everything in a cupboard and just take what you need into the shower with you.

Try scrubbing it with one of those wire brillo pad things. if that doesn't work- get rid and get a hanging one that you can pull out and wash.

Good one Calvinsmum.

I have something similar - you can use wet tin foil to scrub it off. Sounds ludicrous but it works!

Try and get a tub of The Pink Stuff. You might get it in Poundland or Poundstretchers. Astonish do a cream too that might do the job..saw some in Home Bargains. You could try Bar Keepers Friend you'll get that in Asda.

Rub of worst of it and then spray with hammerite direct to rust spray paint. The paint may cost more than caddy though!

What? I wasn’t being funny, that is exactly what we do because I was sick of cleaning my shower caddy.

delilahgreen · 30/11/2018 16:48

Diana I will give the foil a try. I cleaned my silver bracelet by putting foil in a mug with boiling water and it came out like new. I was like magic before my eyes.

I’m sure you would, OP has said she doesn’t want to right now. And not everyone has a cupboard.

I have one of these and have to scrub with Brillo pad or wire glass scourer every few months
