Online diploma for £20 - will if count for anything?

I've seen a course I'd be interested in doing online but as there seem to be so many websites I don't which to trust. I'm also wondering whether the qualification would count for much when applying for jobs. This is the site..

I've looked up the provider in your picture- it doesn't seem great. The courses do not result in any recognised qualifications. What are you looking to do?

Child psychology, more because it's something I'm interested than anything else, but if I'm going to get a qualification I'd like it to be worth something.

If it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Or put it this way. If the course gives a qualification that's worth £200, they're not going to give it away for £20.

Open University is reputable. They have a range of free modules available online so you can get a feel for it.

If you're thinking about moving towards a job in that area, research carefully what qualifications you'll need.

Futurelearn and Coursera do lots of short courses, some of which are run by likes of open university and other UK universities , free for a limited period of access or you can pay for indefinite access and a certificate.
