How's everybody doing? My old friend insomnia seems to have returned tonight :-(

Yep! Just up feeding my 8 month old. I was fast asleep 5 mins ago 😴

Yes, my friend insomnia is back as well.

I went to sleep around 11.30 and woke twenty minutes ago. Hope to be asleep again soon (of course picking up my phone is the perfect way to drop off, ahem).

Ha yeah the magnet of mumsnet. I justify it by having my phone on blue light filter probably doesn't help much!

I've given up and got up, might as well do something...no idea what though, my kindle and phone have run out of charge.

I fancy some Heinz tomato soup but we don't have any.

5 week old wont settle. She’s drifted off for the moment but is on her side and obviously going to wake up very mad when I move her!

I dont have children my mum used to say the best times were the middle of the night times when we was kids when it was just her and us individually. She must be crazy ;-)
Considering cleaning the kitchen

I went to bed at nine and woke at midnight. Now if I get up I'll wake DH so I'm stuck.

I went out for dinner with friends earlier, are too much and now feel bleurgh.. stomach very cross with me!

I'm awake. Went to sleep at 10 but woke up at 12:40. Longterm insomniac- would normally get back off about 2 until 5.. but have big operation on Tuesday- so have something to obsess about !

I'm awake. My insomnia is alive and well! I'm usually awake 2-4/5.

I have my first job interview in 12 years tomorrow morning and am stressing about it and what to do if they offer me the role which is perfect on paper!

Sitting up holding my 11mo. She started being sick at 5.30 and I'm too scared to let her sleep in her own bed in case she chokes and i didnt hear. So watching crap on telly, MN ing and reading lord of the rings. Not really getting any better at catching the sick in the bowl....

I'm up, but I'm in America so it's only quarter to ten here. Sorry about your insomnia! Does it happen often? I've probably lost a lot more sleep than I should, reading "just this one thread" on MN when I lie down.

I have been panicking about Christmas, and been buying online gifts. I have to stop now though.

I also am one of those crazy ones that loved the quiet of the night alone with DB's, I think its probably got so!etching to do with the oxytocin myself...used to muse to myself about what others were doing in the middle of the night. now I know theyre all on here
