Caffe Nero used to do a white and dark chocolate one I loved.

beanaseireann · 30/11/2018 00:15

Baked

Cuzcothellama · 30/11/2018 00:17

Red berry or lotus biscoff.

OrigamiZoo · 30/11/2018 00:20

For a cheesecake hit, I make a dessert of a few spoons of proper greek yoghurt, a teaspoon of lemon curd and a crushed lotus biscuit ....I'm having it now. Thing is, as its so easy, I have just had two bowls. Blush

JaneJeffer · 30/11/2018 00:21

Why did I read this thread? I'm craving cheesecake now. I like the sound of the amaretto one. Blackcurrant is lovely.

Justgivemeasoddingname · 30/11/2018 00:27

Usually plain. The best I ever had was an individual one from the Magnolia Bakery which set me back $7 And it was worth every cent. We sat outside Rockefeller center just after the tree had been lit.
Anyhoo...I've never made a baked cheesecake before but think for Christmas I will bake a plain one and make several different toppings so everyone can choose their own.

Yum.

BadlyAgedMemes · 30/11/2018 00:33

I really want to make a rum raisin one. I've never had rum raisin cheesecake, but have recently decided that rum raisins in general are food of gods, and should probably be put in everything.

Groovee · 30/11/2018 06:23

@SagelyNodding my friend used to own a cheesecake shop in Edinburgh. She makes her own tablet then grates it. Mixes it through the cheesecake before sprinkling a good amount on top. It is immense.

hellokittymania · 30/11/2018 06:27

The coffee chain Highlands in vietnam do a vietnamese coffee cheesecake. It's amazing!

buckeejit · 30/11/2018 22:55

Now I want cheesecake. Anyone tried one done in the instapot? I'm thinking of trying that as the instapot people like it!

VetOnCall · 30/11/2018 23:07

I make great cheesecakes even if I do say so. I did a Toblerone one for a dinner party recently; other favourites are chocolate orange, Nutella, Maltesers, lemon, lemon and blueberry and raspberry and white chocolate. A baked vanilla one with a variety of toppings akways goes down well too. My favourites are the chocolate orange and lemon and blueberry ones.

EnidButton · 30/11/2018 23:25

Baked New York vanilla or blueberry.

I love chocolate above all foods but for some reason chocolate cheesecake feels wrong to me so it's the only time I wouldn't pick a chocolate dessert.

EnidButton · 30/11/2018 23:26

^ hold the phones! A Nutella one might be the exception Shock🤤

Where are your cheesecake recipes from ?

Eminybob · 01/12/2018 09:56

I once made a passion fruit cheesecake for a dinner party which was amazing. I’ve never made it since though as it was a proper stressful faff, you have to sieve the passion fruit etc and I got myself in a right tizz.
It was worth it at the time but cba doing it again.

Goldenbug · 01/12/2018 10:20

My own banofee version.

fussychica · 01/12/2018 10:35

Well it was the cheesecake at the Fountain Cafe in Epcot but it's been years since I've had it.

Shop bought has to be Waitrose New York cheesecake. I see it's on offer......

VetOnCall · 03/12/2018 05:54

Beana I read a lot of recipes online and in books and then modified them with trial and error. If there's one in particular you'd like let me know and I'm happy to share.

Costco do my favourite Godiva chocolate cheesecake?!

How do I do Costco?? Can I just go and buy it?? Can anyone get a card??

Cocobana · 03/12/2018 15:51

@Excited101 you have to put for a annual member ship at the customer services desk and they give you a membership card.

Cocobana · 03/12/2018 15:52

go for *

Cocobana · 03/12/2018 15:53

It’s about £30

starkid · 03/12/2018 15:55

Key lime pie or baked vanilla :) maltesar is nice too, and sometimes a chocolate one... TBF I like most cheesecake Grin toffee can be a bit sickly though, usually prefer fruity

OlennasWimple · 03/12/2018 16:00

Baked vanilla with a decent base to hold it together, with a dollop of properly sharp syrupy blackcurrants o the top

PabloTescobar · 03/12/2018 16:04

All of them! However, rum, toffee and banana is a stand out in my mind.
