Or any other space saving solution ?
I have 12 and 14 year old daughters who have to share a room . As they need space for a desk, shelving etc we're tight for space . They've always had bunk beds but I feel the regular children's ones aren't sturdy enough for their weight . Their current one has broken at the base so looking to invest In a really sturdy one . They currently have a really heavy mattress on one of the bunks as well which we used as it was given to us new / free and is really comfy and good quality . I'm starting think though that the mattress weight plus their increasing weights won't help . Any recommendations for really sturdy bunk beds ? Should I ditch the mattress for a lighter one ? Also ideally the bed needs to be white if possible to match all their other furniture . Any recommendations or alternative gratefully received . FWIW they already have the biggest bedroom in the house !
