Tamatanga? It’s about 0.2 miles from the station

Asha's newhall street/Edmund at is great.

Ithaas Fleet st (short taxi) or Lasans jewellery quarter ish.

Lasan hands down if you don’t want to go far. Itihaas is overpriced garbage and Asha’s far too expensive for what it offers. Another option is to go to Ladypool or Sparkhill (about a tenner in a taxi) and hit up a random curryhouse — quality and prices are a lot cheaper.

Asha’s is nice. Walking distance.

We went to a great one in Sparkhill. I will try to google it.

Yes Lasan, is probably the best.

Another vote for either Lasans (naicer) or popping up to Ladypool Road.

Another vote for Lasan (although I wouldn't call it a 'curry house') - surely more Indian Fine Dining? Had one of the best meals ever there.
Or Mowgli (in the Grand Central building) - haven't been to the b'ham one, but loved the Liverpool one.
