Trying to think of more indoor activities I can do with DD especially as the weather is getting wetter/colder/darker now.
I do try colour/paint activities but these seem to last about 5 minutes. She does enjoying reading. Would love some more creative ideas? Thanks

Fill a washing up bowl with water, put it on a towel on the floor and let her 'wash up' some unbreakable things or wash some dolls or toys, play with things that float. Add bubbles. It's a bit messy, but clean mess.

Make dens and tunnels with blankets, stepping stones and little obstacles with cushions, etc.

Big tray of uncooked rice or lentils with little vehicles and spoons, scoops etc.

Blow up a balloon and bat it around.

Play doctors - lie on the sofa and let her wrap you in bandages (loo roll), etc.

Sing and dance to your favourite songs.

Teddybear's picnic.

Play shops or cafes.

Let her help you prepare food or do the cleaning.

Get all the play instruments (or, for example, pans to hit with a wooden spoon, rice to shake in a coke bottle etc) and make some music!

Makes some play dough

Put kids action rhymes or yoga on YouTube and follow it

Collect a basket of objects from around the house and some empty boxes and let them put things in and out

Look on Pinterest for ideas 😊
