What the sizings are like?

If I were to buy them online, what are the chances they would fit?

I usually take a six in shoes, but I'm thinking wellies I usually have two pairs of socks on, or a thick pair of socks, so would I be better going up a size??
Thanks

Interesting question as just bought a pair yesterday! I am usually a five and they fitted perfect foot wise but tight round the calf so went up to a six and they are very roomy even with thick socks but perfect round the calf. The roominess in the feet is really annoying and would prefer the five. So in my experience true to size and next size up too big. Good luck hope you find the right size. I love the boots by the way they are Downton in navy if you were curious Smile

Keep proof of purchase, my Joules wellies barely lasted a month unfortunately. Company were very good when I complained though and offered replacement or full refund.

Having purchased Joules wellies twice for my daily dog walks, and had them both disintegrate twice within a month, I'd agree with PP. keep your receipts.

I won't ever purchase again, especially for the price. Shame cus the designs are lovely.

I had a pair around 8 years ago that lasted two years so I'm not sure what's happened? Cut in quality to improve profits maybe.

Hmmm.seems to be a theme about the quality. Would Hunter wellies be better? Thanks for your replies

Hunters last years, I wear a pair I bought for my then 14 year old who is nearly 38

BubblesBubblesBubbles · 29/11/2018 17:06

For the price I find them rubbish! My cheapo sainsbugs ones lasted longer.

Also I find them very tight fitting on my calf, which is bizarre as my legs are ‘skinny’ according to the lady in the shop.

The DC have always had Hunters and they've lasted amazingly, but the adult ones I've had have always been rubbish. DH bought me some Dubarry boots about 10 years ago and they've been invincible - I wear them daily for dog walks and they're still waterproof, if they died and went to heaven I'd just replace them knowing they'd last another decade.

Hunters are made in China now as well I believe. Certainly not the quality they were years ago.
