Another leaving your baby one...

So.. toddler and baby both asleep upstairs.. Neighbour directly opposite us has our parcel.. Do I quickly nip and get it now or wait until DH comes home? We're not going out again today and I can't face bundling them up just to nip over the road.

I've never done it before and I most likely will wait, but it is tempting to just quickly get it. Verdict?

I would just go and get it if it's directly over the road you will be about a minute.

Just over the road? Yes I’d nip, careful you don’t lock yourself out though.

Nicknacky · 29/11/2018 13:37

I would nip over and wouldn’t give it another thought.

I’ve done this before. Did check I had my keys about a million times and took the baby monitor!

TeddyIsaHe · 29/11/2018 13:39

I would. My bins are round the corner a few doors down from my front door, so I have to leave dd and go the same distance regularly.

Make sure you have keys though just in case!

I did just go and it did take about a minute.. I took two sets of keys with me Blush Despite that, my heart was still racing when I closed the front door! Both DC still asleep...!

I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Once my kids are asleep they're asleep.

Xuli · 29/11/2018 13:44

I would, if you can still see your house and it's a quiet road.
