DS ill - party Sat - lost contact details

Bollocks.

I never throw invites away, just in case.

Only I have. And I've RSVP'd a few weeks back to say we'd go. DS isn't well and I think it best we don't go. I have no way of contacting classmate's Mum.

[Lighthearted] Do you know Elsie's Mum? She's Elsie from Class 4 if that helps.

Seriously, How can I get a message to her/them? I don't want to be that parent who accepts then doesn't show...

Do you not have any other parents I the class who you can message to ask?

buckeejit · 29/11/2018 12:47

Drop a note to school tomorrow for Elsie to give to her mum

HippyChickMama · 29/11/2018 12:48

Could you send a note into school addressed to 'Elsie's Mum' so that the teacher can send it home with Elsie?

ClickyJoints · 29/11/2018 12:49

Phone the school and ask them to pass a message to elsies mum

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 12:50

Playing I've asked those I know and they don't know her.

I won't be taking DS to school tomorrow so can't take a note in.... Would the Office pop a note in her bookbag for her Mum for me? Or is that CF territory to ask?

WellGoshDarnIt · 29/11/2018 12:51

If you ring the school and explain, won't they pass on a message? They wouldn't be breaking any confidentiality rules.

Heuschrecke · 29/11/2018 12:51

Did you RSVP by phone/text? If so, do you still have Elsie's mum's number in your 'recents'?

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 12:52

By Text... And I've changed my phone since GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I know one Elsie - are you happy to give the town/city to help identify if it is possibly the one?

Invisimamma · 29/11/2018 12:56

Class Facebook or WhatsApp group?

SillyBub · 29/11/2018 12:58

I work in a school office. We'd happily pass a message on for you if you called/emailed.

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 13:03

Hercules I have pm'd you.

Invisimamma Have asked those,....

Going to see if I can find her number on last months bill and if all else fails, speak to the school office.

Just nip to school with it. It's only Thursday, won't he have perked up by Saturday?

NoLeslie · 29/11/2018 13:10

If the school office say no, you could call the venue and ask them to help. If it's a soft play sort of place rather than a village hall obvs.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 29/11/2018 13:14

What a strange problem!

HerculesTheBercules · 29/11/2018 13:16

No PM has arrived

ChaseOnTheCase · 29/11/2018 13:17

It's no way going to be the same Elsie ConfusedGrin

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 13:44

@HerculesTheBercules God knows who I PM'd. I live in a town beginning with H

OP posts:
HerculesTheBercules · 29/11/2018 14:01

Ah, the Elsie I know lives in a city beginning with E.

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 14:02

Would love to see this 562 threads in when MN somehow tracks down Elsie from Class 4 who is having a party on Saturday...

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 14:07

@RomaineCalm Grin Wouldn't that be ace...

Although if the small gaggle of Mums I know don't know Elsie, I'm not sure the MN Massive could pull this one of of the bag for me.

I know a child of the correct name, in a potential correct place (right initial).

Does she have a twin?

cjt110 · 29/11/2018 14:50

Jacques I don't know... Her Mum's name is Nicola IIRC

Have asked a fellow Mum from Class 4 to kindly scribble down a note for me to give to the teacher, to give to Elsie.
